ACTIVITIES

In spite of the Institute's commitment towards the cause of people challenged in their speech and hearing, society is still not aware of its early identification, prevention and treatment. Hence the Institute has geared itself on a large scale mission to create awareness among the general public, allied professionals and parents about speech, language and hearing problems.

In this regard, a new department has been launched in the year 2004 known as The Department for Material Development.      

The main thrust of this department is to produce Public awareness materials, Education and Student training programmes in different media such as print, video, radio and theatre.

• Content, Design & editorial of print material on public education.      

• Documentation work of clinical services, making Documentaries, Animation & Training programmes on Video.

• Features and interaction on Radio.

• Developing street plays, dramas & skits on speech, language and hearing.
